normally wouldn't comment but only someone very young and privileged would claim people are entirely responsible for their own destinies . . . leaving aside all the people being laid off in this economy, think of all the babies born into dire poverty through no fault of their own. to be honest i find this kind of statement arrogant and distasteful.
